- Book about printers..?
- Posted by Ivor Jones on April 14th, 2007
Does anyone know of a good reference book about printer technology..? I
don't mean the very simple stuff like you see on the Howstuffworks site
but a relatively comprehensive manual that details how the various
different types of printer work, dot-matrix, inkjet, laser etc.
None of the local bookshops I've tried, even the large ones with good
computer departments can help, there are chapters in larger "How your PC
works" type books but nothing dedicated to printers as such.
I would prefer a single book detailing all types of printers, but if
there's a book about laser printers etc. then they would do, but I've seen
nothing.
I'm in the UK if it helps.
