Brother HL1230 laser printer - cleaning (drum?)Tutorial?: Posted by AC on August 31st, 2003; I have been given a useful Brother HL1230 laser printer, although not
the CD which came with it. (I see it is a remarkably low price machine).

A replacement toner cartridge - which it now needs - is no problem, and
the user guide I have downloaded, but there is a recommendation to clean
the drum (amongst other things) when replacing cartridges, and the
details are only apparently shown in the 'Tutorial CD'.

This CD or tutorial does not seem to be available for download.

I would be grateful for suggestions.

the drum. i imagine that your printer will be similar.
