- Brother toner warning
- Posted by syrjohn on July 12th, 2006
Hi,
I have a Brother HL-5150D laser printer which I love. Every now and
then after much use it will display a flashing "toner" warning which
means I'm getting near the end of this cartridge. On past machines
I've owned I've been able to ignore it and continue until the print
started to look bad. Even then I could shake the cartridge and get
more passes. This one, however, won't let me continue even if the
printing looks great.
How can I bypass the warning and continue as before? Any secret tips?
John
