I have the Apple version of that printer, the Color StyleWriter 2200.
From the beginning it had a problem feeding paper, and the BJC 70 had a
similar reputation. It is possible yours has developed the paper feed
problem, reporting a jam when the next page fails to feed.
If that is your problem, it may be possible to treat the paper feed
rollers with a rubber renewal chemical or something like Armorall to
restore their ability to grip paper. I never bothered to try it on my CSW
2200, but bought the BJC 85 instead. It was physically similar to the BJC
70, but worked better, and was also compatible with the Canon NK-300
battery pack.
Another thing to consider is that the Canon BCI-11 color ink fades very
quickly in sunlight. Newer printers use ink that holds up better, both to
light and water. This might be a good time for you to upgrade!
