- Canon BJ85 mechanics ... broken
- Posted by David Power on November 2nd, 2006
I dropped my nice little portable printer on a hard floor and now the gear
train is out of alignment and it won't pick up the paper .... A new gear
train costs more than the printer!
What I need (I think) is another BJ85 with burned out electronics but
mechanically OK. In australia as otherwise freight is restrictive.
Maybe the 75 and 80 models are the same?? - they look the same externally.
Hope someone can help ....
Thanks DJP

In article <454a6e54@quokka.wn.com.au>, djpower@westnet.com.au says...
I know a guy who bought one of these:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16828104310
because it wasn't that much bigger and heavier than his BJ-85 that just
up and quit printing on him. Says he gets faster, better looking prints
with it than his old BJ-85 too.
