Canon BJC-80 problem
Posted by jroman@mcsoftampa.com on June 3rd, 2008

The printer goes through the motions but no ink is transferred from
the cartrige. So I bought a new complete cartridge, with both black
and color cartriges. Plugged it in, and still no ink hits the paper. I
have no error tones, no flashing error lights. If it wasn't for the
lack of ink showing up on the paper, it would sound and appear as if
working perfectly. I'm running windows XP pro on a IBM Thinkpad R52.

Any suggestions? My next step is to spike it off a Canon reps forehead
and buy a HP.
