I just got mine and was wondering if anyone has had the opportunity to form
any opinions as to the quality of print, ease of use and any other
considerations that may come up. This is my first "real" photo printer so I
really don't have anything to compare it to other than the 7 junk printers
I have owned...which is usless. I really did buy a Canon BJC-600 when they
first came for over $600. Can you imagine???? That was a 4 cart printer as
well. I should try to resurrect it and see how it does on my photos today.
NAH! I believe the i560 has 8-10 times the resolution. The print software
that come with is decent but it is the only complaint I have with the
system. It won't recognize my entire HD directory and makes me copy files
to folder I created in "My Briefcase". Time consuming! The paper selection
has something to be desired in that it isn't totally ISO compatable. That
would be nice. There is a limited selection. I really like the way it does
index prints though. It is interesting when you think about the dot-matrix
devices. That was easy to understand. Electric impulses, metal pins, a
ribbon and walla, there is print. These pl (pico-liter) printers are
magic, you have no idea how they work.
Any technology that is distinguishable from magic is not sufficiently
advanced.
Any other thought on the i560?
