- Canon ip4000 paper size options??
- Posted by Caitlin on December 28th, 2004
I have a Canon IP4000 which I'm quite happy with (I'm using the direct to CD
print quite a bit - I'm in Australia btw, I know that feature isn't included
in the US.)
However, I'm puzzled by the fact it only gives me a very limited number of
paper size options - A4, letter, 4x6, 5x7 and credit card. My old printer
had a heap more than that, as well as 'custom'. I was printing Christmas
cards last week and this was a real pain as I couldn't specify the exact
size of the paper I had. Any suggestions?

D'oh! I think I just answered my own question - looks like the other sizes
aren't available with 'borderless printing' but are otherwise. Bit of a pain
that.
Can I just add a winge at this point though about crap manuals. The manual
for both the IP4000, and the Epson 2480 scanner I bought at the same time
are bleeding hopeless! They're fine for stuff like 'how do I turn it on' but
not much use for anything else!
