I noticed this week that the Canon iP4300s were hugely discounted by
some stores in Canada... That can only mean new 2007 models must be
coming in September.

A while ago they were going for $149 CAD. Dropped occasionally to $129
CAD, and this week I see they're being "dumped" on the market for $89
CAD at Staples/Bureau En Gros stores. That is less than the cost of OEM
cartridges for that printer.

If the price still looks high by US standards, remember that the
Canadian models comes with the CD/DVD printing tray. The US ones don't!
