- cartridge problem Minolta Color Page Pro Plus PS Colour Laser Printer

Hi,
my Color Page Pro from minolta suddenly doesn´t recognize the black toner
cartridge any more. I have to open the cover 5-10 times to get it
recognising it. This only happens at startup. When the printer once "saw"
the cartidge it prints like a charm. But opening and closing the printer and
moving the toner slide with decent force is anoying.
Anyone any ideas how to fix this?
