- color matching
- Posted by Cliff on September 3rd, 2003
Hi all. I'm new to this group and new to digital photography. Hoping
someone out there can answer my question.
I'm using the following programs - all of which offer EXIF print
management: Adobe photoshop Elements 2.0, ACD FotoSlate, and Epson
PhotoQicker - with Epson Photo 820 printer and Coolpix 4300 camera.
After setting up the "correct" profiles in these programs and using
the PRINT command, my printer dialogue box opens. Is it necessary to
set up all the options in this dialogue box as well (i.e. paper type,
size, color management, etc) or is this a redundant step?
Thanks in advance.
Cliff
