Hello group,

I recently acquired a used printer, a Fujitsu 14ADV, model #
M3878SA14ADV

When I plug it in and turn the power switch on it doesn't do anything.
No LEDs light up, and it doesn't make any sounds. furthermore there is
no sign of power on it's ethernet jack according to my network switch.
I'm guessing the problem could be a blown fuse (do laser printers have
fuses?), or the power supply is dead.

Along with the printer I found some service records showing that the
printer had been cleaned a few years ago and the toner replaced. No
mention as to why the power doesn't work.

I would like to attempt repairing this myself, but I have not had much
luck finding related information. Fujitsu's website doesn't seem to
provide much more information than the user's guide.

Does anyone know where I can track down some more information on this
printer? a parts listing would be useful, ie for the fuse type and
power supply model. Or where I could find a service manual or
something of that nature.

Other than the power problem the printer looks like it's in excellent
condition, so I don't want to just scrap it. Repair shops will
probably charge me an arm and a leg for this, so i'd like to try a DIY
method.

Any suggestions?
