Looking to buy Epsons RIP for the 1270... looking on ebay, unfortunately the
3 or so sellers have yet to reply to their emails asking to confirm which
s/ware rip they have etc...

Most of the RIPs I see on Ebay are not new enough for your printer. But maybe
someone will have the correct version. If the sticker on the box does not
list your printer, do not buy it! There is no upgrade to that software that I
am aware of! If there is an upgrade, someone please provide the link for
testing.

Yeppers! Smile you got that right, am very aware different RIPS different
printers -- too bad Epson would not just do a single box for all....
