Epson 2200 roll paper margin
Posted by JT on August 3rd, 2003

I just purchased an Epson 2200 and am fairly happy with it. I am having
one problem as was wondering if anyone knows a solution.

When I print using the Epson 19" wide roll paper (for a 19x30 panorama)
I get a 1/8" white border along the left side of the printout (along the
30" top of the panorama). I have everything set to borderless and, in
fact, when using the 19" sheet paper I do not get the border. It only
happens with the roll paper.

I don't see any adjustment to physically align the roll nor can I find
any software placement adjustments. Any help would be appreciated.

TIA,

JT

I just can say that I noticed exactky the same behaviour.
I am interested in a solution too, if any.

I have the Epson 2200 also. When I printed roll paper with a USB cable
it came out fine. I then printed the same picture out with a 1284 EEE
parallel printer cable through my Linksys Print server and I got the
same white borders you did. I then printed again through the USB port
and it was fine. Maybe it's the type of printer port you use.
