Is there any danger in leaving a CF card permanently in my 915's card slot?

I have left mine in for very long periods of time with no problem. When I
am home I use the card as a hard drive to transfer pictures between desktop
and laptop.

The reason I asked is that I'm leaving it in and performing a backup of my
excel spreadsheets to it whenever I add something new to them...
It's so much faster than having to pop in a CD and burn the sheets to that..

I do that all the time with no problem.
