Epson C44ux Waste ink pads removal?
Posted by Bigfoot on April 17th, 2004

Hi,

I have an Epson C44ux which I bought for lots of cheap printing and recently
I had an error message saying, parts inside your printer are at the end of
their life and need replacing, contact your dealer. I found out that it was
probably my waste ink pads that needed replacing or cleaning, so after a
little research on the net I found a nice little utility called SSC service
utility that among other things re-sets the chip that was giving me the
problem. Now although my printer is working again I am a little concerned
that I might have an ink overflow soon so does anyone know how to go about
cleaning the ink waste pads on the Epson C44ux please?

Any advice much appreciated.
