Any idea why this is happening?

I've double checked the properties for this and confirmed it is configured
to print black in only.

Also - i'm using 3rd party ink cartridges and I get smearing on my text
assigned to pitch = 8. Is there just one manufacturer doing the 3rd party
cartridges so I'm stuck with this quality? Yes - i've cleaned the heads
repeatably and I just don't get consistent quaility here. Sometimes it
smears..and sometimes it comes out excellent.
