I install compatiable ink cartridges in my Epson CX6400. EVERYTIME I
print, a warning appears that I do not have Epson ink cartridges
installed. It asks if I want to continue or abort. Of course, I
continue.
I had an Epson 777 that had the same message BUT it occurred only ONCE
when the cartridge was charging after it was just installed. The
message would not appear again until a new compatiable one was
installed.
Unlike the 777 the CX6400 shows the message EVERYTIME I PRINT and
won't print until the question is answered. I contacted Epson and a
person did not know what to do. He suggested using a newsgroup like
this to see if someone knew how to "hack" the driver and get that
message removed.
Any suggestions? I have it connected to an IMAC.
Thanks for your help.
