Epson CX6400 woes...
Posted by Jimbo on February 15th, 2005

I bought one of these scanner/printers back in Feb. of 2003. Within 8
months it failed. It would power up, only to shut itself off right away.
Epson shipped a new one out under warranty. The new one has lasted about
two months. It still scans, but it is constantly saying there is a paper
jam, but none can be found. It tries to feed a piece of paper sometimes, but
it won't feed in, and gets all crumpled at the bottom of the sheet. It also
sometimes doesn't detect that no paper is loaded....as after a sheet fails
to feed in, sometimes it will go ahead and spray ink all over the bottom of
the printer, as there is no paper in there. What is up with these printers.
How many times will Epson keep exchanging these BAD printers? Any way to
invoke the lemon law and get my money back?

I believe lemon laws in the US are state regulated, so you may need to
contact your state attorney general.
