I received my code for the $45 dollar credit at the Epson e-store. I tried
using the code and surprise! it does not work. Has anyone else tried their
code and have it work?

I tried to use mine but got back that settlement benefits will be available
no sooner than late fall of 2006. Their letter states benefits are not
distributed until AFTER the court considers final approval on the
settlement. So at this point nothing is guaranteed I guess.

That would make sense, since the award is not finalized until the
hearings and final agreement about the lawers fees and other issues.

Arthur, was just thinking, its too bad we in Canada can't get a store
credit from Epson when we bought the same printers with the same
problem. I bought the C64 Epson a few years ago which is on the list and
one my daughter bought, a different one on the list. We found they used
a lot of ink, and when mine developed a problem, I was glad and took it
back to Staples. I had an extended warranty, so got a Canon.

They're probably hoping for a lot of people losing their codes or forgetting
about it. It states in the mailer "IMPORTANT: This is your only record of
your unique code".

No, I didn't try mine. I put it where I keep the printer cartridges
and will try it when I hear that other people successfully used theirs.
