Epson Printing past margin
Posted by HarveyB on August 23rd, 2003

I have an Epson C-82. When I print a page from the internet, the last
half inch or so of the text is cut off. I tried increasing the
margins but it didn't help. I then tried deducing the size to 90%
with no success. Does anyone have a solution? Thanks in advance.

HarveyB,
I also have a C82 and can have this problem, but I'm not sure it is
related only to the C82 or Epson printers, for that matter.
Many times if you look around the page you want to print from the
internet, you will see a message that says something like "click here for
printable version". This message seems to be in an obscure place for some
unknown reason.

I hope this helps some.Good Luck.

HarveyB,
I, too have a C82 and have encountered the same problem, but I don't
think it is unique to the C82 or Epson for that matter.
The image on the internet can be wider than the width of paper. Usually
when an image is displayed on the internet and would not be suitable to be
printed, somewhere on that image page there is a message saying like: "click
here to print page" or something like that. The message, for some reason,
seems to be in an obscure place easily missed .
If you would like an example:
I use www.support.chartermi.net/tc/ as my home page. The screen that comes
up can be printed normally because the image can fit on an 8.5" page width.
But if you click on the weather forecast, the screen comes up that is too
wide for the paper. This can be shown if you click on print preview from the
File menu. If you look to the left on the forecast page, you can find a
message saying "Print this page" A printable forecast will come up if you
click on it.
I hope this what you are looking for and it helps you out.
Good Luck.

Use a different browser, MS IE will always do that. Mozilla does not,
