- How to or if to alter color profile
- Posted by jlouise52@comcast.net on January 8th, 2006
I have a Canon i950 I was pretty happy with until all of a sudden it
started printing dark and green. My Samsung SyncMaster 175v monitor
came with something called Natural Color which I used to set my display
and it was also supposed to calibrate my printer.
My problem is that I don't know what to do with the file created by
Natural Color or if I should even trust that program and the file it
created. Should I use Windows new color management "thing" and set it
to a standard profile or something?
All my drivers for the monitor and printer are up-to-date for XP Pro
SP2.

Assuming that the printer internal nozzle check is good. (With power on, press
the Resume button until the green indicator flashes twice, release the Resume
button).
I would be inclined to revert to standard driver settings for the printer and
disable (if there is a way to do it) the Samsung Natural Colour. See what
effect this has.
