I do not believe so. What problem are you having? Some issues are
relatively easy to correct.

Wen I switch ON the printer, it moves the cleaning tanks to the back
and the lights indicating" receiving data" and the one indicating "no
paper", flash.
Switching Off and ON the printer, makes a momentary noise trying to
move the tanks to the back that are already on the back and the same
lights keep flashing.

I have another HP970 that is working well and I have replaced every
board from the good printer without any results. This includes the
main board, ink cartridges, paper etc. The only thing I haven't
replaced is the master roller (the one with the plastic encoder at the
end). But I replaced the little motor that moves the paper.
I check the paper path and the switches that may sense "no paper"

I did place the printer a side about a month ago, but I was ready to
give it another go if I could fine the service manual.

It is a good printer
