- HP LaserJet 1100 - "negative ghost" images
- Posted by Walter Harley on September 17th, 2004
I've got an HP LaserJet 1100 and I'm getting "negative" ghost images. What
happens is that if there's some grey on the bottom of a page, it will have a
negative image of whatever text or graphic was printed in black earlier on
the page. The spacing between the original and the negative is exactly 3".
I've read a lot about *positive* ghosts, stemming from problems with toner
staying on the fuser roller. What could cause these *negative* ghosts, and
how do I fix it?
