Very, very strange one.
I have 2 Windows 2000 PCs, each a with locally connected HP LaserJet
1500.
The first instance of the problem occurred when attempting to print
envelopes from MS Word.
I would create an envelope in Word, Press 'Print', insert the envelope
into the manual feed tray and all is good - the printer prints as
expected and all is fine an dandy.
But then I noticed that the 'Feed me more paper' light is flashing on
the printer, and the HP Toolbox still reports having the job in the
printers queue.
So I put another envelope in the printer and, hay presto, it prints
the same envelope again.
I repeated this many times (about 8) until the secretary advised me
that we were getting low on envelopes and perhaps I should stop.
The same happens on both PCs and respective Printers.
On further investigating, printing from a different program used to
create A5 confirmation slips produces the same problem.
I have tried printing envelopes to a different printer and that works
fine.
Printing A4 documents is fine.
I have installed the latest drivers and some patch thingy from HPs
site.
I have full permissions on the machines.
Im confused.
Any ideas would be much appreciated.
