Anyone know anything about the Canon disc printing site being down?

I need a new printer for disc printing, looks like the IP4500 is my only
choice, since the IP4300 is history. Any idea if that site is coming back?
If not, is the IP4500 the same as the 4300 for modding to print discs?
Any alternate sites for instructions?
