I'm a long time HP user, but really wanted the ability to print onto
CDR/DVDRs. So I bought an Epson R200.
I'm using the original carts that came with the printer. Is there a way to
refill the carts with my bulk dye based ink?

I did that before I posted... Of the results I found they showed several
techniques most of which were more complex than the HP carts I have been
refilling. In the past I have gotten some extremely friendly and useful
advice and tips from this group- obviously none of it came from you!
But thanks for taking the time to post sarcasm instead of useful

The original cartridges are difficult to fill under the best of
circumstances
owing to the deliberate design of the cartridge. It is possible but you
have googled the methods on-line and know what they entail.

You should seriously look at cartridges designed for manually filling
