- light stripe on page on HP 4000

I have a hp 4000 and 4050, the problem is a light grey stipe has started to
appear down the middle of the page on the 4000 where any tonner is supposed
to be
It dosn't rub off so it is being fixed by the fuser. I have swapped the
transfer rollers between the two printers no change so it's not that, new
tonner cartridge.
Is there anything else that I have missed that could be causing this?
Thanks
Chris

When a fuser roller is worn out, it will produce a blurry gray stripe,
although I only recall seeing them on the left side of the page.
Swap the fuser from one printer to the other and see if the problem goes
with it.
