- Linksys Printserver WPS54GU2
- Posted by Terabyte on September 15th, 2004
Hello!
I have a Linksys Printserver WPS54GU2. I have two printers Lexmark Z32 (USB)
and a HP LaserJet Printer Series II.(parallel)
I can get the two printers to print. The Lexmark prints perfectly but the HP
printer prints out junk, garbled. Has anyone else experience this problem? I
am running W2K SP3.
I have deleted and reinstalled the HP printer driver. No luck.
I have reset the printserver, deleted the software for the printserver and
reinstalled the printserver.
Still I get junk, garbled text from the HP.
The folks at Linksys are not much help.
Thanks!

Does the HP LaserJet II print correctly when you directly attach it to your
computer with a parallel cable?
You do have a parallel cable running from the Linksys to the parallel port
on the printer and not the 25-pin serial port by accident, correct?
