- NETWORK PRINTING ACROSS DIFFERENT OP-SYS
- Posted by Darryl on October 20th, 2003
HI:
I have a big problem. I'm trying to set up a network printer. Not so
hard. But I have to print from 3.1 95 98...can somone tell me how I
can do this. I have not bought a printer yet. I do have net access
so I can assign a data port for the printer
if someone can recommend a printer that would be great
sigh/

As the driver is individual to each computer you want a printer that
comes with drivers for each of the above OS's. You use the
appropriate driver on each machine, don't try to import the wrong
driver when your connecting to the share, point to the driver for the
OS.
