- Printing a font list from LaserJet 2200

I've installed a Japanese font DIMM in a LaserJet 2200 and I don't
know how to make the printer print out a font list. I need to
determine exactly what fonts are in this DIMM. The documentation of
the DIMM is sparse (a single page of obscure instructions) -- it tells
me to use some utility WinRCP. A Google search for that term is pretty
much useless. And the documentation for the 2200? Non-existent. I have
no access to the original software that came with this printer. And
hours of searching on HP's website have not turned up anything. I've
looked in every manual and software package available on their site --
no luck. The manuals tell me to use some piece of control software
that came on the "driver disk," a disk I do not have.
Anybody have a clue how I can get this printer to print a list of all
its fonts? The LJ4600 includes font information in its diagnostic dump
but this one doesn't. Is there a generic HP utility that can send a
command to the printer telling it to do this? I've looked around, and
tried everything I can get my hands on, but no luck.
Thanks.

This is a bit obscure for this newsgroup I suspect.
Have you tried
http://forums1.itrc.hp.com/service/f...categoryId=413
You can register there and ask your question, most of the contributors have in
depth HP knowledge and I wouldn't be surprised if you get some assistance.
Good luck
