- Printing Issue
- Posted by forcefx on December 5th, 2007
Hi guys! New and have a issue I'm currently working on. I have an
employee who is trying to print her paycheck stub. When she pulls it up
everything looks fine, but after she prints it, the stub is much larger.
Any idea on where the setting is to correct this? I have already tried
uninstalling and re-installing the drivers for the printer, but to no
avail it still comes out way too large. Many thanks for your help!

this is ticked you always get a large print. Look in the Printer
properties during the print dialog

Sorry, I forgot to mention that I have already tried this setting and
it did not resolve the issue. Can you think of anything else? I'm just
about out of ideas.

I think it might be helpful to all if we knew what you were printing
it from. Is it an image or a document. If it's document, then what
type and software created it. If it's an image, you can use Irfanview
or another viewer to scale it to exactly what you want including
original size. You should be able to do the same with a document, but
who knows what you have!
Also, when asking a printing question, it's sometimes cool to know
what the printer is.

I apologize, it's being printed from her employer's web site, and isn't
using any additional software i.e. Adobe, Word etc... The printer is a
HP Laserjet 1012 connected directly to the pc via USB. Thanks again!
