thanks .. cked out the URL and they didn't have generic HP cartridges
.. the 'real' HP56 was about $20 US + about $6 for shipping ..
can you recommend any URL that has a better variety ? for HP cartridges
? and while I'm at it.. what is the best paper for printing color photos
? beside 'waterproof ' glossy ? (don't even know it that's good) ..and
what about 'bright white' paper ? I'm totally new at this and ,also,
having to watch my pennies.

the patent on the print head, I believe. Same for Lexmark. You should
have bought a Canon or an Epson if you wanted the option to buy generic.
