Refill or after market cartridges for Epson C24?
Posted by charles stoyer on August 4th, 2003

We got a good deal on an Epson C24. Argus digital 2.1 Mp camera, 64 Mb
memory card, memory card reader and printer for $169 after rebates but
before tax. Camera alone retails for $269.

Black ink seemed to run out really quickly. They are $16 at Office Depot, a
little cheaper online.

It seems from reading through posts (using Google search) that one can ruin
the printer by refilling cartriges or using cheap after-market ones. Seems
the ink needs to be really clean and well behaved. Or the ink can run when
wet which the factory cartridges don't do.

So has anyone had good luck with any of the aftermarket cartriges? Or refill
kits?

I see that the printer knows how much ink it has in it and you need a chip
resetter for $21 or so in order to refill the cartriges.

Thanks for any advice,

Charles.

Check out www.inksupply.com They are a reputable company. Also Pacific

Good Luck.
