Hi.

A friend of mine upgraded to XP, but found out that Canon
(lack-of-)support bailed out on this particular printer model.

They swear it wasn't 'designed' for this 200 or XP. Surprising, since
XP has by far the most extensive built-in driver library. I'm a bit
surprised it's not automatically supported...

So it seems clear no such driver exists (or will ever be developed)
for XP or 2000.

My question is:

Could I use the driver of another (newer) model to enable most (all?)
functions. I read somewhere it's compatible to BJC-4000/4100 for
printing only.

Is this true?
