- Samsung ML-1710 2-sided printing ?
- Posted by leetnc@dma.org on October 18th, 2003
Any downside to doing 2-sided printing on the Samsung ML-1710 laser
printer by printing the odd numbered pages, and then reloading them into
the feeder tray to print the even numbered pages on the other side?
Thanks.

It's just possible that toner will rub off the underside of that page
onto the top of the next page while printing the second side. I had
this problem with an LJ-III when trying to manually duplex with it.
It's not that the toner is poorly fused, rather it because often
toner will rub off onto the sheet beside it. This normally doesn't
happen with newer printers such as my LJ-2200dtn as it's designed for
duplexing while the LJ-III is not.
