- Setting up printer on network
- Posted by Torp on December 16th, 2003
I am set up a printer on my home network and I can't seem to print from
workstations on the network... only from the workstation it is installed on.
It is a Lexmark 63X. I have it connected via USB to a Win2000 Server and it
prints fine off that server. Whenever I try to print from another
workstation, it puts the job in que and I can see it from all workstations
(all workstations are W2KPro) but it won't put the job through. Is there a
setting I am missing or is this a common issue or something? Strange how it
can see jobs but won't process them. Also I wonder if there might be a
rights issue.
