- Trying to print labels with panasonic dot matrix,printing 1 ok then 1 blank page, why?

Please help, I am trying to print out labels using a Panasonic KX
P2023 dot matrix printer. Have used it for years. Recently when I
print the labels it has been printing 12 then skipping 12. This is bad
when I need to do a couple thousand labels. I have checked the page
setup, printer settings - it has start section on a new page, I
changed this to continuous but it didn't help. I don't know what was
changed to make this happen or how to correct it. Someone please help!
