- VueScan - Epson - Mac - Red on a Canon i9100
- Posted by Robert Peirce on November 14th, 2003
VuesScan started to recognize the scanner. I don't know why it wouldn't
before or why it started, but it does.
Using VueScan, I calobrated my scanner and used it to calibrate my
printer. I copied the ICC to /Library/ColorSync/Profiles and used the
profile in Adobe Photoshop Elements to print a picture of a red car. I
held the print next to the car and I couldn't ask for much better. So,
those who say that CMYK prints can't match RGB monitors may be exactly
correct but they are practically wrong. It may not be exact, but it is
close enough.
