Iam ravikumar.N, I have written a 'C' code which
formats the compact flash storage memory on an embedded processor.Here
I have used memory mapped I/O mode.The code is working fine for
Sandisk.When I format other compact flash storage memory using the
same code and if I try to open the same flash in windows, windows
outputs a message as "Disk is not formatted.Do you want to format it
now".

So, I want to know the differnce between Sandisk and other compact
flash.Is there any way to know the difference flash memory. If there
is a way please let me know.
