C 803 exhausted ?
Posted by jt on May 15th, 2004

Hi all,
-----------------

last week we switched our CA due to technical problems and those of
interoperability from
openSCEP to Windows 2000 CertServices. ( internal CA. ) For testing
purposes, I cleared
the existing old CA cfg from a 803 and enrolled with the new one, everything
went fine until I wrote to cfg to mem:
( The RA's Certs are of a 512 length, so are my pubkeys. )

22:51:10: %SYS-3-CONFIG_NO_PRIVATE: No space remaining to save private
config

After reboot, parts of the cfg are truncated ( ISAKMP authen / id parms )
and my
private keys are gone ( ! ) so I am unable to SSH to it.

Here's the sho conf, service compress-config is active. Doesn't look like a
NVRAM issue ?!

Using 7387 out of 8037 bytes, uncompressed size = 13810 bytes
Uncompressed configuration from 7387 bytes to 13810 bytes

Ay ideas what must be done ? Perhaps adding DRAM ?

Here's the sho ver:
