- Deploying Cisco VPN Client with Group Policy
- Posted by K.J. 44 on November 13th, 2006
Hi,
I am not sure if I should put this in the Windows forum since i am
deploying with group policy or if it should go here because my question
has to do with the VPN Client.
Here is my question and I apologize if I posted in the wrong spot.
I am deploying the Cisc VPN Client 4.6 to a bunch of PCs using group
policy. Is there a way to specify parameters so I do not have to go
around and put in the information to each of these? (IP address,
group-name, etc.)
Thanks.

Create the .pcf (configuration file) and put it in the same directory with
the VPN client install files. It will be magically imported during the VPN
client installation.
I've only done this with the .exe, I can only assume it will work with the
..msi
