- IPsec within L2TP over IPsec - PIX.
- Posted by AM on July 23rd, 2006
Cisco says PIX can terminate L2TP tunnels over IPsec from 7.2 and above.
But, briefly, can it then manage an extra wrapped IPsec tunnel within L2TP over IPsec as written in
the subject?
This is the scenario depicted by a provider for our PDAs to access our internal company network.
They say I need at least an 1812/K9 but I have a PIX 515E and I wouldn't buy another device just to
manage just one tunnel even if it is a little bit different from those usually used to provide
connectivity to company network.
Thanks,
Alex
