- Question about corrupted flash memory
- Posted by Christer Bergstrom on July 2nd, 2006
Dear Sirs
I have experienced the following:
At booting I received the following message:
boot: cannot determine first file name on device "flash:
the device then started in ROMMON.
there I made an dir flash: which told me the
flashimage had an bad checksum.
So I made an tftp-r
then when making an copy tftp: flash: to restore the
image I got an message about missing space on flash.
an dir showed: 16252924 bytes
previously I had 16777212 bytes
squeeze flash:
had no influence on flash size
I suppose the flash is corrupted and time to open the wallet.

Format the flash. This should resolve the problem.
