- RF Noise
- Posted by Catamount on October 10th, 2007
I have Cisco 1200 APs (B) Laptops can connect fine, cept when a
forklift drives by and other random disconnects. I am looking for a
way to find RF noise that might be degrading the wireless network.
Also, how much noise is too much?

An outstanding tool to use is a product called VisiWave Site Survey
from www.visiwave.com. It does all types of radio noise and does a
full site survey with minimal effort. It isn't free but it works very
well.
