- Sandisk Flashdisk PC Card ATA
- Posted by mrallhart@yahoo.com on January 10th, 2005
I have some Sandisk ATA Pcmcia cards that I want to use in some of my
equipment and they are formated in fat. So how do I get a cisco device
to format it if it can't see it. Is there a utility out there. I have
tried to format in a 6500, 3600, 7200VXR. How do I get a filesystem on
them so they will see the cards???
Thanks,
Mrallhart

gear. I am afraid but IIRC memories have to be pre-/lowlevel-formated
from factory. The "erase flash:" command will no work out :-( Btw:
PCMCIA flash drives are supported on 6500 and 7200VXR but not on 3600.
Cheers,
Alexander

for me. Perhaps "erase disk0:" might do the trick you want.
Just my 2-cents.
