scheduling actions
Posted by vsakel on December 25th, 2003

Hi all,

Does anyone know if it is possible to schedule some actions to do a router,
with IOS commands only?

For example to make a ping every hour or to shut an interface for a specific
time.

Thanks in advance for your help

SAA (Service Assurance Agent) is built into IOS and can do
active monitoring (ping, jitter, availability, etc) and be
scheduled.

Other IOS commmands will need to be scripted externally..
