- Black Widow SCSI Scanner 4800

I acquired this old scanner a while ago and have struggled to get it
going. I have a few scsi cards, ISA and PCI and some will
intermittently see the scanner on boot up and CTL-A. The simplest way
would be to use the bundled card, since I have the Win drivers for this
and to use a non-bundled card means using DOS drivers so the readme
says.
Trouble is I have about six scsi cards and I cannot recall which is the
bundled card! Some are Adaptec, which I assume would not be bundled
with a scanner. One is a small ISA card by Symbios Logic. Can anyone
tell me which card was bundled with this scanner please? I need to save
myself a lot of trial and error if I knew which was the card to
concentrate on,

Hello,
I'm looking for a PCI SCSI card for my scanner, which is the same as
yours. The card I have is the SYMBIOS with a label of 3151-v22; it
has 25 pins.
How about you recommend a PCI SCSI card for me?

Your Symbios card is identical to mine - was that the bundled card?
Regret none of my Adaptec cards will see the scanner, although it used
to work OK. I cannot fault all the cards and cables so assume its the
scanner.
Does your Symbios card not work?
