I am using a Canon D2400U to scan M/F slides and negs but I am not having
vary much luck with sharpness

Anyone know what the optimum distance from the glass bed a slide should be
placed for maximum sharpness.

The standard holder produces very very soft results, but print scans are
vary sharp.
