My Canon 650U USB scanner has simply stopped working. Getting error
message saying that the cable may not be installed properly, etc.
Uninstalled, reinstalled, etc. Tried on a different computer, cables.
Same results. Doesn't start from software or button on front.

Feels like hardware failure for sure. Anyone know what might be going
on? Anything I can do? It's out of warranty.
